Backwoods By Christine Cozic, Watercolor Painting

Christine Cozic is a Louisiana artist who concentrates on hyperrealist watercolor paintings of local flora.  Her vibrant paintings draw attention to complicated patterns found in nature.  She is an award-winning Signature Member of the National Watercolor Society and the Louisiana Watercolor Society.  In 2010, her work was included in the collaborative exhibition, "Women Artists in Louisiana, 1965-2010," hosted by the New Orleans Museum of Art and the Historic New Orleans Collection.  Cozic graduated with a degree in graphic design from Louisiana Tech in 1981.
